The member countries of the OECS will be able to benefit from the Cyclotron of Martinique


“Our Cyclotron and Trep Scan, dedicated to the early detection of cancer, are also intended to be yours, it aims to structure a real nuclear medicine sector at the Caribbean level” said Mr. Alfred Marie-Jeanne President of the Territorial Collective of Martinique opening the 4th Council of Ministers of Health of the OECS which takes place in the French island*


“The problem of financing our health systems in a context of budgetary rarefaction is acute, hence the need for a response based on the potential of the human, technical and technological resources already available in our various territories”

“I remain convinced of the benefits of prevention and opportunities to strengthen awareness-raising operations that we can lead by pooling our efforts,” he added

* The “4th Council of Ministers of Health of the OECS” and the “Board of Directors of the Central Purchasing Office of the OECS” are held for the first time in Martinique from November 8th to 10th
