Equally important to the Policing that’s visible to the public, is the type of Policing that takes place behind the scenes like collecting and analysing data. This job falls primarily in the hands of the staff of the Local Intelligence Office (LIO). The information they generate – such as the trends in crimes being committed – directly help with the decision-making process at the highest level in the Police Force. Head of the LIO, Sergeant Winston Thompson, is the special guest on “Policing With You” on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He joins host, Sergeant Treveron Richards, to discuss how the LIO contributes to Policing in the Federation. “PolicingWith You” is aired every Thursday on ZIZ radio from 9:15 a.m. You can also watch it live on the Facebook Pages of The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and ZIZ Broadcasting, or catch it on the YouTube Channel of ZIZ Broadcasting. Have a question for our guest? Post it on any of our social media platforms, call 465-2555 or send it via WhatsApp at 662-3604.
